Dusshera provides the perfect symbolism for bringing up the issue of fighting evil together. Su-Dhara project was introduced to over 2000 members of East Delhi’s West Gorakh Park/Jafrabad/Babarpur area through a Streetplay whose script focused on changing people’s behavior towards waste through segregation at source and to keep from throwing waste into water bodies. We developed a waste “ravana” to highlight 10 different types of waste that the community members must fight towards. The play was met with great applause from the community members.
